Tré S. Sullivan is a native of Donaldsonville, LA, and alumnus of Donaldsonville High School, where he graduated 3rd in his class.  He was fortunate to attend Louisiana State University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a minor in Entrepreneurship. He was blessed with the opportunity to play four years of football at LSU in which he initially walked on, and subsequently earned an athletic scholarship.  Football inspired his interest in sports law.  While in law school, he began his first business venture where he serves as the founder/CEO of Napoleon Sports Group, Louisiana-based sports, and entertainment agency.

Recently, he graduated from the Southern University Law Center and Southern University College of business in May 2019, receiving a dual JD/MBA degree; the first student to matriculate through this program.  He received Cum Laude honors as he finished in the top 15% of his class in the JD program and Top of the Class in the MBA program.

During his law school matriculation, Tré served as Dean for the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. Furthermore, he is a member of Southern University’s Sports and Entertainment Legal Association (SELA), where he was named Executive of the Year (1st place) in the NBA Contracts Negotiations Competition at Tulane Law School.  Additionally, he received the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship from the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyer Association (BESLA).

Moreover, Tré has interned with Southern University’s Athletics Compliance Department, The Louisiana Legislative Black Caucus, The Louisiana Legislative Bureau, The Louisiana State Police and Deutsch Kerrigan, LLP.  Tré passed the Louisiana State Bar Exam in July 2019 and was sworn in on October 14, 2019.

Since then, he has practiced primarily personal injury law in Louisiana as an associate attorney with the Law Office of Marvin Gros.  Additionally, he works part-time with the Ascension Parish Public Defender’s Board handling misdemeanor cases.  Tré is also a member of the Donaldsonville Rotary Club.  However, he remains open to new opportunities that will mold him into a better attorney, businessman, and philanthropist, regardless of geographic location or practice area.

Tré is the son of the Honorable Mayor Leroy J. Sullivan Sr., of Donaldsonville, LA, and Erica Mannor, a Registered Nurse (RN).  He has four siblings: Latonya Sullivan-Prejean, a lieutenant for the Ascension Parrish Sheriff’s Office; Leroy J. Sullivan Jr., currently serving his twentieth year in United States Air Force; Nyla Sullivan-Allen, an RN; and Trent Sullivan, a junior at Louisiana State University majoring in Bio-Chemistry/Pre-med.
